Mr Fothergill's Mint (Applemint) Seeds, Mint with a distinctly fruity flavour. Mint is best grown in containers or contained within a bottomless pot sunk into the ground. This prevents roots spreading unnecessarily.

Transplant seedlings to individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 30cm apart. Or sow outdoors for ease, thinly where they are to crop, 0.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart. Harvesting: Cut the leaves as required.
