Job Vacancies
Coffee Shop Assistant
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking person to join our small team. This is a part-time position with hours to be discussed based on the right person’s availability and the needs of the shop.
The shop is a busy spot, especially during the lunch rush, so we need someone who is happy staying on their feet and can keep their cool when things get moving.
The Important Stuff
We really need you to have some previous experience with cooking or food prep. You don’t need to be a head chef, but you should be comfortable in a kitchen, know your way around food safety, and be able to get stuck into making orders quickly and accurately.
The Hours
While the exact number of hours is still to be decided, the shift pattern will include:
- A mix of morning and afternoon shifts during the week.
- One weekend shift per week is a required part of the role.
- Flexibility to cover the busy lunch crossover period.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re a small team, so everyone helps out with everything:
- Prepping and cooking food and making drinks.
- Serving customers and chatting at the till.
- Clearing tables, washing up, and general cleaning to keep the shop looking sharp.
- Helping with opening up or locking up the shop.
Are You the Right Fit?
We’re looking for someone who actually enjoys working with people, shows up on time every time, and is happy to take responsibility for the day-to-day tasks that keep the coffee shop running smoothly.
Sound Like You?
If you’ve got some kitchen experience and fancy joining the team, drop your CV into the shop for a chat or email it over to cv@grasmerestaffs.co.uk
Please let us know a bit about your cooking/prep background and what your general availability looks like.
