Mr Fothergill's Mat Herb Collection Seeds, Quick and easy sowing for windowsill herbs
Simple and fast
So easy, with no mess or fuss. .
Sow indoors, warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Simply fill a 9cm pot with compost, leaving a 1.5cm gap from the top of the pot for easy watering later on. Place the mat on the compost and firm down gently. Cover with a fine layer of compost, water well. Place in a warm position, a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal. Keep moist. Plants can then be grown on a cool, light windowsill. Harvest pick a few leaves from each plant so they regrow quickly. Leaves are best picked immediately before use. For maximum flavour herb leaves should be added to cooked dishes at the last minute.
