Step 1 - Sow outdoors April to July, thinly, 1.5cm deep in large containers or in rows 40cm apart. Keep moist. Step 2- Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to about 15cm apart. Step 3 - Harvest by picking a few leaves and stems from each plant, so it can regrow. Step 4 - From July to November, enjoy the stems steamed, leaves as spinach or baby leaves in salads.
