Johnsons Echinacea Bravado Seeds, Long lasting, large flowers for classic borders. Once established divide plants in autumn or spring.
For indoor sowing When February to May. Where In trays of moist compost. How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 40cm apart in flowering position. Flowers June to September, the following year. This ‘Purple Cone Flower’ has architectural cones at the centre of large heads with full petals. Great for cutting and in the border. Good plant for wildlife.
