Mr Fothergill's Dill (Dwarf) Nano Seeds, Dwarf variety, highly versatile. They may be dried or frozen but for best flavour use fresh. Add leaves just before cooking is complete.
Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Water well until plants are established. Thin seedlings to 20cm apart. Or to grow indoors sow 0.5cm deep, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20°C.is ideal. Plants can be grown on a light windowsill. Harvesting: Pick the leaves as required, (outdoor crops from May). Pick a few leaves from each plant so they regrow quickly. Seed heads should be gathered when they turn light brown (outdoor crops only). Dry heads indoors shake out the seeds and store in an airtight container.
• A hardy annual, can be grown in pots
• Remarkably compact, deliciously aromatic herb
• Ideal for windowsill crops and patio containers
Sow time: Jan-Dec
Flowering/Harvesting time: Jan-Dec
