Johnsons Aster Colour Carpet Mix Seeds, Compact, ideal for late summer beds or containers. Use some in pots to add late summer colour where required.
For indoor sowing When February to April. Where In trays of seed compost. How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free Flowers July to October.
