Mr Fothergill's Asparagus Pea Seeds, Sweet, crisp ‘asparagus’ flavoured pods. Pick regularly to encourage further pods to form. Top and tail pods then boil or steam.

Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 2.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Delay sowing if soil is still cold. Allow 45cm between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart. Water well until plants are established. Regular sowings will extend the harvest season. Provide cloche protection or delay sowing if soil is cold. Pick regularly to encourage further pods to form.
